School Visits
With 30+ years coaching and mentoring young people, I bring the same passion and guidance as an author to inspire students to discover the magic of stories and the power and joy of creative expression as tools for growth, reflection, and connection to reach beyond their own expectations in and out of the classroom.
Spark creativity * Embrace challenges * Build confidence

Try, Tinker, Triumph!
PreK-Grade 3 (30-60 min. Length and subject tailored to be age appropriate)
After a fun read-aloud of Tenacious Won’t Give Up, students will learn that challenges are part of learning and that perseverance pays off! Pam will show glimpses of childhood tries and triumphs and incorporate interactive activities reminding young learners the benefits of positive self-talk, taking a belly breath, and strategies for trying smarter (not just harder). By the end, students will leave inspired to tackle challenges with confidence and pride, whether it’s learning to write their names, tie their shoes, play an instrument, spin a ball on their fingers, or write a book!
From Scribbles to Stories!
PreK-Grade 3 (30-60 min. Length and subject tailored to be age appropriate)
Pam will read Tenacious Won’t Give Up or Missy Wants a Mammoth. Her presentation will give students a magical behind-the-scenes look including “before-and-after” artwork and revisions to show how a picture book comes to life. Young learners discover that experimenting, making mistakes, and trying new ideas are all part of the fun of storytelling.

Testimonials
Pam visited our after-school library STEM program to read & discuss Tenacious Won't Give Up, and just like the protagonist in her story she challenged the kids to try a few real-life skills and how not to give up! She is a natural and charismatic teacher, a real-life coach, and among the most engaging authors we have hosted!
C. Morrison, Youth Services Librarian
